Dolby Atmos

We offer the option to deliver your release in Dolby Atmos, an advanced audio format that creates a more immersive, three-dimensional listening experience compared to standard stereo.

A Dolby Atmos file is an additional audio version of your track, not a replacement for your regular stereo WAV file. Your release will still be delivered in stereo to all platforms, while supported platforms can also offer the Atmos version.

Currently, Apple Music, Tidal and Amazon Music support Dolby Atmos. Platforms like Spotify do not support this format at the moment.

If you would like to submit a Dolby Atmos version, please note:

  • The file must be created in a certified Dolby Atmos studio
  • You can check certified studios here: Dolby Atmos Music Studios
  • Your standard stereo audio file is still required

If you want to include a Dolby Atmos file in your release, please contact us at: labelrelations@digdis.de

Good to know

  • Dolby Atmos is optional and not required for a release
  • Listeners without supported devices will simply hear the standard stereo version
  • Submitting an Atmos version does not negatively affect your stereo release
