Spotify Artist IDs
When uploading a release in rokket!, you can add a Spotify Artist URI to make sure your music is linked to the correct artist profile on Spotify. A Spotify Artist URI is a unique identifier for an artist on Spotify. It ensures that your release appears on the correct artist profile and not on a wrong or duplicate page.

rokket! will now give you Spotify URI suggestions based on the artist name you provided. Just click the little pencil icon next to the artist's name inside rokket! to edit the URI for any previously submitted artists, or just add the URI during the creation process of a new artist that has not yet been released on your label.

If you have a new artist that has never been released on Spotify before, please leave the URI field blank and check the box “Create a new Spotify artist profile”.

In case none of the suggestions we provided were correct - please manually search for the Spotify URI and add it to the Spotify URI field within rokket!.
Here are two ways to find the Spotify URI:.
You can find your Spotify artist URI under your Spotify artist profile by clicking the three dots next to the "Follow" button.
Option 1 (easiest)
- Open the artist profile on Spotify
- Click the three dots (…) next to the “Follow” button
- Hold Alt (Mac) or Ctrl (Windows)
- Click “Copy Spotify URI”

Option 2 - (from the URL)
- Copy the artist URL from your browser
- Extract the ID (the part between /artist/ and ?)
- Add this in front: "spotify:artist:"
Example: spotify:artist:3CUpjyDJOe47QOWbh686FE

Important
Always make sure you select the correct artist profile.
Do not copy the normal URL, use the URI instead.
If the wrong URI is used, your release may appear on the wrong artist page.
