Apple Music for Artists

Apple Music for Artists is a free tool for artists, labels and distributors. It provides real time streaming data, audience insights, playlist details and new Shazam chart data, so you can understand the performance of your whole catalog.

Access and setup

Go to https://artists.apple.com/ and sign in or request access.
Verify your artist profile to gain full access to streaming data, playlist details and audience insights.
After verification you can manage users, upload your artist image, and use the mobile app to monitor performance.

What you can see

Streaming and purchases - Plays and buys for each title.
Shazam data - If your track charts on Shazam in a country or city within the last seven days, you will see this charting information in your profile.
Title insights - Detailed playback behaviour for each title.
Location data - Listener locations and city level insights.
Playlist details - If your music is added to a playlist you can view playback numbers and the track’s playlist position.

Mobile app - The Apple Music app gives an overview of listeners, music video plays, and most shared tracks and lets you manage users and upload your artist image.
