TIDAL Artist Home
TIDAL Artist Home is the innovative artist dashboard designed to empower artists and their teams. Its primary goal is to allow artists to directly influence what fans see when they visit their artist profile on TIDAL.
Claiming an Artist Profile
To claim an artist's profile, users need to:
- Log into their TIDAL account.
- Proceed to artists.tidal.com/claim.
- Search for the artist by name or directly paste the existing artist profile link.
However, it's important to note that users can only claim one artist profile at a time. If a user encounters a "profile already claimed" notice and believes it's an error, TIDAL has a reporting flow in place to correct such issues.
Track and Album Verification
After selecting the desired artist, users are prompted to claim their artist's tracks or albums. They need to choose at least one accurate track or album to associate it with the artist's profile. In instances of incorrect content, users have the option to select the track or album and report it as inaccurate, ensuring that TIDAL is notified.
Verification Methods
There are these methods to verify an artist:
- Via Social Media: Artists can also verify their profiles using their social media handles. Platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, or X (formerly Twitter) are accepted.
- Manual Verification: This option involves a more hands-on approach where users fill out a form providing essential details, including contact information for TIDAL's verification.
Managing and Editing Artist Profiles
Profiles on TIDAL Artist Home come with a variety of editable fields. Artists and their teams can directly modify the profile picture, biography, and social media links. In addition, there's a provision to correct any inaccurate content on the artist's (or other artists') profiles. While all invited team members can view the artist's profile, only specific roles, namely Owner, Admin, Manager, and Label, can make direct edits. This distinction ensures that only authorized individuals can modify critical artist data.
Editing is straightforward: areas of the profile that can be edited will feature an "Edit" button. Clicking this will guide users through the necessary steps. Inaccurate content can also be reported by clicking the "Report" button, which directly notifies TIDAL's content team.
Team Management and Account Overview
Under the "Team" tab, most roles can view team members, invite new ones, and also remove certain roles when needed. The distinction of roles and their permissions is available for deeper insight.
The "Account" tab serves a crucial function. It allows artists and their teams to maintain updated contact information. By doing so, TIDAL ensures timely communication about new features, products, or content updates. Except for the View Only roles, all others can update the majority of the artist's account information. If there's a need to modify specific details, such as legal name or birthdate, the Artist Support team is available for assistance.
For a more in-depth exploration of roles and other features, users are encouraged to refer to TIDAL's comprehensive FAQs or contact the Artist Support team.
