Mastering Feature

If you need a mastered version of your track, you can use the integrated Mastering feature in rokket!.

Through our partnership with Masterchannel, an AI-based mastering service, you can create audio masters of your tracks and remixes in just a few minutes, directly during the release setup.

Where can I find the Mastering feature?

The Mastering feature is integrated into the upload process in rokket!.

When setting up your release, go to the corresponding Mastering tab and upload your audio file there. You can simply drag and drop the file into the upload area.

How does it work?

After uploading your audio file, Masterchannel processes the track and creates a mastered version for you.

The processing time may vary depending on your internet connection and file size, but it usually only takes a few minutes.

Once the mastering is complete, you can preview the result before downloading the final file. You will also receive an overview of how different parts of your track have been adjusted during the mastering process.

Do I need a Masterchannel account?

Yes. To download the mastered audio file, you need to create a free account with Masterchannel.

This is required because the final processing and download are handled through Masterchannel’s system. However, the workflow is integrated into the dig dis! app, so you can access the mastering process directly from rokket!.

Do I have to use the Mastering feature?

No. The Mastering feature is optional.

If you already have a finished master, you can continue uploading your own final audio file as usual.
