Beatport Greenroom

Beatport Greenroom for Artists & Labels is Beatport's free platform for artists, labels, managers and their teams.

It allows you to claim your existing Beatport Artist or Label profile, manage profile information, access performance analytics and control who has access to your Beatport presence.

If you already have music available on Beatport, Greenroom is the recommended place to manage your Artist or Label profile directly.

What can I do in Beatport Greenroom?

Once your Artist or Label profile has been claimed and approved, you can use Greenroom to:

manage your Artist or Label profile
access performance analytics
view downloads, streams and follows
monitor chart positions
manage team members and access
display events connected through Beatport Tickets

This gives artists and labels significantly more control over their Beatport presence without having to request every profile change through their distributor.

How do I claim my Artist or Label profile?

If you already have an Artist or Label profile on Beatport, you can request access to it through Beatport Greenroom.

To claim your profile:

Open Beatport Greenroom.
Log in using your existing Beatport account.
Select whether you want to claim an Artist or Label profile.
Search for your existing Beatport profile.
Complete the requested information.
Submit your claim.

Beatport's support team will review the request before access is granted.

Updating your Artist or Label profile

Once your profile has been successfully claimed, you can manage profile information directly through Greenroom.

This includes:

Artist biographies
Artist profile images
Label logos
other available profile information

This means that you generally do not need to contact dig dis! for Artist bio, Artist image or Label logo updates on Beatport.

Please make these changes directly through your Greenroom account.

Greenroom also allows you to view the music currently associated with your Artist or Label profile.

This can help you identify whether releases and tracks have been assigned to the correct profile.

Beatport Analytics

Greenroom provides artists and labels with additional insights into how their music performs within the Beatport ecosystem.

Depending on the data available for your profile, this may include:

track downloads
DJ streams
DJ follows
Top 100 chart positions
previous Beatport features
appearances in curated charts
releases and tracks associated with your profile

Please note that Beatport Greenroom analytics relate to the Beatport ecosystem and are separate from the statements and statistics available in your dig dis! account.

What if a release is missing?

If a release does not appear in your Greenroom catalog, there can be several possible reasons.

For example:

the release has not yet been delivered to Beatport,
Beatport is still processing the release,
the release has been taken down,
there is a copyright-related issue, or
the release has been assigned to a different Artist or Label profile.

If you believe that a release delivered through dig dis! is missing or has been mapped incorrectly, please contact us and provide the relevant Catalog Number and Beatport link, if available.

Team management

Greenroom can also be used by managers, label employees and other team members.

Once you have access to an Artist or Label profile, you can invite additional people and manage their access.

This can be useful if several people are responsible for areas such as:

Artist management
Label management
marketing
promotion
analytics

This allows your team to access the relevant Beatport information without sharing one account.

Beatport Tickets

Greenroom can also connect Artist profiles with events listed through Beatport Tickets.

Upcoming events can then be displayed on the Artist's Beatport presence, allowing fans to discover events and access ticket information directly through Beatport.

DJ Charts and Streaming Playlists

Beatport also offers tools such as DJ Charts and Streaming Playlists.

These are separate from the basic Greenroom profile-management functions and can be used to promote music and showcase tracks to your audience.

Beatport features

Greenroom can help you monitor whether your music has received Beatport features or chart placements.

However, Greenroom itself does not guarantee or automatically provide editorial placements.

If you would like an upcoming release to be pitched for a Beatport feature, please contact us sufficiently in advance of the release.
